Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP at the Lawyers for the Creative Arts 50th Anniversary Gala
On December 8, Partner Michelle Wahl and Associates Amanda Alasauskas and Thomas Kliebhan attended the Lawyers for the Creative Arts 50th Anniversary Gala at the Chicago Cultural Center. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with performances from outstanding artists from a broad range of ensembles, genres, and styles.
In addition, Michelle is an Executive Committee At Large Member and former Associate Board President, Amanda currently serves as Associate Board President, and Thomas is the Associate Board's Social Media Manager. All three proudly and actively serve as volunteers, giving back to the art and entertainment community.
Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to artists and arts communities that are financially unable to retain legal counsel. LCA conducts workshops on not-for-profit incorporation and tax exemption, seminars on the law of music, publishing, film, copyright, and mentors young attorneys. In the past twelve months, LCA has provided services to over 2000 people and organizations in all areas of the arts.
