Gould and Henne to Present at 2025 AEM Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Product Liability Seminar

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorneys Jack A. Gould and Brett M. Henne will present at the 2025 Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Product Liability Seminar, hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), on April 28-May 1 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Henne will be part of a session named “The Process of a Product Liability Lawsuit” where he will cover what to expect from your attorney and how to smoothly navigate a product liability case.

Henne will also address the importance of documentation and safekeeping in his session titled “What Documentation You Will Need.” He will emphasize how crucial proper documentation is for building a strong product liability case, as well as the types of documentation you need to gather and maintain throughout the litigation process.

Gould will present on “Post-Sale Duty to Warn: A Multi-State Survey,” where he will explore how Courts in various states, including Illinois, New York, California, and Texas, address the applicable post-sale duty as well as strategies to consider in limiting exposure to potential product liability lawsuits related to the same.

The four-day conference is designed to help gain valuable insights into the latest standards, regulations, and best practices in equipment manufacturing. There are over 30+ program sessions covering topics such as global product regulations, safety labeling, driving safety with technical communications, and more. Brett M. Henne started his career in 1989 with the Grayslake Fire Protection District, working his way up to the position of Fire Marshal, Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, and as a licensed paramedic. His immense experience in the medical field, fire and explosion investigation, and construction field, coupled with his vast trial experience, allows Brett to efficiently and zealously represent his client's interests throughout all phases of litigation. Jack A. Gould is an experienced litigator at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP.
