Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Secures 2024-2025 Mansfield Rule Certification

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is pleased to announce it has achieved Mansfield Certification for 2024-25. The firm remains dedicated to continuously building and maintaining an inclusive, diverse workforce.

The 12-month program is designed to increase diversity and expand the pool of candidates considered for entry-level and lateral attorney positions, leadership roles, equity partner promotions, and client connections within the firm. It involves pursuing specific and measurable objectives to insure that qualified women, racially and ethnically diverse, disabled, and members of the LGBTQ+ community are considered for advancement opportunities both inside and outside the firm.

The Mansfield Rule is administered by the Diversity Lab, an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. The Mansfield Rule was named after Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to practice law in the United States. Learn more about Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Rule here.
