John Duffy to Present at Women's Bar Association of Illinois CLE Program

Partner John Duffy will present at the Women's Bar Association of Illinois' 2022 "Making Your Appellate Court Record" CLE Program on November 30 at the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.

Duffy will join Justice Jesse Reyes, Sarah King, and Gretchen Harris Sperry, where they will discuss how to handle a variety of issues that arise during trial and how to make your appellate court record. The panel will also discuss voir dire, objection, exhibits, offers of proof, the role of trial monitoring counsel, and other helpful topics.

The Women's Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) was established in 1914 by nine women lawyers practicing in the Chicago Metropolitan area. It was founded to promote the interests and welfare of women lawyers and to aid in enacting legislation for the common good and in the administration of justice. The WBAI was also one of the first minority bar associations to extend its membership to males.

Advanced registration and proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test are required to enter.
