Becker to Speak at DePaul Law's CIPLITĀ® Intellectual Property Lecture Series

Partner Jeffrey S. Becker will speak at “IP Theory and Practice 2024,” a six-session lecture series on intellectual property for first-year law students, hosted by DePaul University College of Law's Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology (CIPLIT®) on February 22 in Chicago.

This program is exclusive to CIPLIT® and is designed to provide DePaul Law students with various degrees of IP background to better prepare them for the job market and more advanced IP courses in DePaul’s curriculum. Becker’s session will focus on Music Law, a topic he currently lectures on as an adjunct professor at DePaul University College of Law, where he is also an alum.

Jeffrey S. Becker founded the firm's Entertainment and Media Law Practice Group in 2013. His clients include Grammy Award-winning musicians, producers and songwriters, publishers and record labels, professional athletes, authors, independent filmmakers and other creative individuals and entertainment-related businesses. Becker has served as secretary on the Recording Academy's Board of Governors for the Chicago Chapter and co-chair of its Legislative Advocacy Committee. Learn more about Jeff and his practice here.
