Henne to Speak at the 4th Annual Fire Investigators Conference

The event is hosted by the Will, Cook, and Grundy County Fire Investigation Task Force, bringing together fire investigation professionals from across the region.
Henne’s presentation, titled "Updates on NFPA 921 & 1033 – Legal Standards in Fire Investigations," will offer an in-depth analysis of the latest updates to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. His session will focus on the critical intersection of legal standards and fire investigation practices, examining how changes to NFPA 921 and 1033 affect how fire experts approach legal challenges, courtroom testimony, and investigative methodology.

Brett M. Henne started his career in 1989 with the Grayslake Fire Protection District, working his way up to the position of Fire Marshal, Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, and as a licensed paramedic.
