Patterson and Alasauskas to Present at Lawyers for the Creative Arts and Arts Alliance Illinois' Workshop

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorneys William D. Patterson and Amanda J. Alasauskas will present at the "Sustaining and Adapting Your Creative Business" workshop presented by Lawyers for the Creative Arts and Arts Alliance Illinois on September 12, 2024. Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to artists and arts communities that are financially unable to retain legal counsel. LCA conducts workshops on not-for-profit incorporation and tax exemption, seminars on the law of music, publishing, film, and copyright, and mentors young attorneys. William D. Patterson is a partner at Swanson, Martin & Bell LLP. His experience in advocating for his clients ranges from handling complex litigation matters, including trademark, trade secrets, and patent infringement matters, to leading the sale of Wordle to the New York Times. He serves as Chair for the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group and has a national litigation practice, handling matters from New York to California and Florida to Alaska. Amanda J. Alasauskas is an associate at Swanson, Martin & Bell LLP. She focuses on commercial litigation and business disputes, entertainment and media law, and intellectual property and transactional services. Amanda has represented entities ranging from individuals and small businesses to international corporations in state and federal court in a wide range of commercial litigation, contractual, and business tort matters. Amanda proudly volunteers her time with Lawyers for the Creative Arts as President of the Associate Board and a volunteer attorney.
