Kevin P. Horan

Biography

Kevin Horan is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office.  He concentrates his practice in the defense of professional liability, product liability, toxic torts and occupational injury claims, including asbestos personal injury litigation. Kevin has significant litigation and trial experience in both the public and private sectors, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of practice areas including tort, trust, commercial, criminal and regulatory matters. He currently represents clients in tort litigation in jurisdictions throughout Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin; and in federal courts from Illinois to Texas. He has briefed and argued dispositive motions at both the state and federal levels, managed pretrial discovery and negotiated settlements in hundreds of contested matters, and has tried several cases to verdict.

Reliford, Horan & Sullivan Obtain Not Guilty Verdict in High-Stakes Paramedic Malpractice Case
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorneys Arthur J. Reliford, Jr., Kevin P. Horan and Susan E. Sullivan obtained a defense verdict after a two week trial on behalf of their clients, The City of Chicago and two city paramedics, in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.
