The Special Olympics Champions Ball celebrated the dedication and resilience of more than 18,000 athletes across Illinois. This black-tie event raised over $1 million for Special Olympics Illinois programs.
Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization that offers year-round training and competition for more than 55,000 traditional athletes, Young Athletes, Unified partners, coaches, and volunteers. Special Olympics programs enhance physical fitness, motor skills, self-confidence, and social skills, while encouraging family and community sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
