Wahl Leads Empowering ‘Muses & Mentors’ Event for Women in Music

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is proud to co-sponsor “Muses & Mentors” presented by Women in Music (WIM) Chicago and GRAMMY U, taking place at the Lincoln Park Room on September 16, 2025. Attorney Michelle M. Wahl, the WIM Chicago Vice-Chair of Events and a GRAMMY U mentor, spearheaded this program as part of her ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of music industry professionals.

“Muses & Mentors” will bring together leading women in Chicago’s music scene for an evening of connection and inspiration. The program will feature a candid conversation with Women in Music Chicago Co-Chair Jessie LaBelle, and GRAMY U mentorship pair, Stacy McMichael and her mentee Ximena Jaramillo Mata, followed by a DJ set from artist and advocate Dani Deahl. Guests can participate in speed networking focused on songwriting, recording, production, and the music business, or connect more informally.
