Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP was a proud co-sponsor of The Black Men Lawyers’ Association’s (BMLA) Annual Golf Outing and Fundraiser on June 7, 2025, at the Jackson Park Golf Course.
This year, the Annual Golf Outing concluded the BMLA Global Summit that was held June 5-7, 2025, in Chicago. The theme was "Advancing Justice, Inspiring Change," which focused on BLMA’s impact as a global organization with now over 1,000 members.
The summit included an opening reception, keynote speaker, multiple panels, several CLE breakout sessions, networking breakfast and lunch. There was an awards ceremony for "Legends of the Law", and all proceeds from the Summit will be directed toward scholarship opportunities for aspiring law and college students.
BMLA was founded in 2017 on the principles of fellowship, leadership, and positive change. It welcomes all and is representative of lawyers, judges, law professors, law students, and paralegals. BMLA was started in Chicago but has grown to become a global organization. Learn more about BMLA.
