Shannon M. Luschen

Biography

Shannon is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. Since joining Swanson, Martin & Bell in 2021, Shannon has dedicated her practice to defending companies and manufacturers in various products and premises liability disputes, particularly toxic tort defense. She is an experienced litigator who effectively represents clients through all phases of complex legal disputes, including motion practice, discovery, and trial. Recently, Shannon was a member of a trial team that received a defense verdict on behalf of a large public company in Chicago for alleged premises liability claims.

Prior to joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, Shannon worked at a prominent family law firm in Chicago, where she regularly handled all stages of complex, high-net-worth divorce and custodial matters. Notably, Shannon was an integral member of a trial team that successfully litigated a Hague Convention custody dispute following a bench trial in the Northern District of Illinois.
