Safron to Participate in CBA Event on Algorithmic Fairness in Law
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorney Jonathan S. Safron will participate in the live webcast “Algorithmic Fairness: What Does It Really Mean in Law?” presented by the Chicago Bar Association’s AI & Fairness, Transparency, and Inclusion & D.I.C.E. Committees on September 5, 2025. Jonathan is a Co-Vice Chair and Legislative Liaison of the AI & Fairness, Transparency & Inclusion Committee.
The program will feature Chicago-Kent College of Law Professor Richard Warner, who will explore distributive justice, the requirement of fairness in the distribution of costs and benefits across society in the age of artificial intelligence.
This event is part of the CBA’s new AI 2035: The Legal Profession and the Judiciary in the Age of Artificial Intelligence initiative, a first-of-its-kind program offering 10 AI-focused CLE working committees and 10 sessions per month. Led by CBA President Judge Nichole C. Patton, the initiative brings together judges, attorneys, and thought leaders to address how artificial intelligence is reshaping the practice of law and the courts.
