Robinson Recognized in Grammy Music Education Coalition ArticleSwanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partner Brenda Robinson's work with the Grammy Music Education Coalition (GMEC) was highlighted on The 74, a nonprofit news website focusing on education issues in the United States.
The GMEC invests in resource-strapped school districts to re-energize music instruction in K-12 public schools. The goal is to undo the spread of “music deserts”: neighborhoods that lack consistent exposure to live music performance and lessons — especially for kids. Robinson is a member of the GMEC board.
Co-founded by former CNN host and education reform activist Campbell Brown, The 74's name refers to the 74 million children in America under 18 years of age. To read the full article, please visit The 74's website.
