Maya S. Theo is an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. She concentrates her practice on medical malpractice litigation and other healthcare-related matters, drawing on her prior experience as a registered nurse. Maya’s background in healthcare provides a unique perspective to her legal practice, that she leverages to deliver informed, effective advocacy for health care professionals and institutions.
Maya began her legal career with the firm as a Summer Associate and Law Clerk in 2024. Prior to practicing law, she worked as a registered nurse in the Chicagoland area, where she frequently served as charge nurse, coordinated patient care, and trained new nurses in best practices and safety protocols.
