Logan Doughty is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office, where Logan focuses on civil litigation, representing clients in a broad range of matters, including the defense of physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare providers in medical negligence and healthcare litigation.
Logan began at Swanson, Martin & Bell as a Summer Associate in 2025 and joined the firm full-time in 2026. During law school, Logan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Margaret J. Schneider of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a Rule 711 licensed student attorney in the NIU Health Advocacy Clinic.
Outside of work, Logan enjoys staying active and pursuing personal milestones. Logan is a Chicago Marathon finisher and a prior Guinness World Record holder. He also enjoys reading, trying new foods, and traveling internationally.
