Jessica Levitt Acuna

Jessica also served as co-chair for the firm’s Medical Negligence and Healthcare Practice Group for several years. Prior to joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, she worked at a civil litigation defense firm, where she gained extensive experience defending clients in medical malpractice and general negligence actions.

During law school, Jessica served as a judicial extern for Judge Joseph S. Van Bokkelen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she was also a member of the Women’s Soccer Team.

Outside of her professional career, Jessica enjoys spending time with her wife and three children. She remains active as an endurance athlete, having completed four Ironman triathlons to date, and recently qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, to be held in Marbella, Spain.
