Jeffrey S. Elmer

Biography

Jeff Elmer is an associate at the firm’s Chicago office. His practice includes asbestos litigation and toxic tort litigation. Prior to joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Jeff practiced at a boutique Chicago defense firm where he gained considerable litigation and courtroom experience defending businesses in various civil cases.

During law school, Jeff clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney and competed on the mock trial team. He also represented indigent clients in the Criminal Appeals Clinic and volunteered with the Wills For Heroes Foundation, helping first responders and their families draft important estate planning documents.
