George F. Fitzpatrick, Jr.

Biography

George Fitzpatrick is a founding partner of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, served as the firm’s Managing Partner from 2000-2005, and served on the firm’s Executive Committee for 20 years.

George represents national and international corporations in various types of product liability, toxic tort and asbestos litigation matters throughout the United States. He has served as National Coordinating Counsel for numerous corporate clients in recurring tort litigation.

In addition to his tort-related practice, George has tried hundreds of real estate-related cases and various other commercial and business disputes. He has also represented pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors in commercial and tort litigation.

Prior to his legal career, he spent four years as Legislative Assistant and Federal Projects Coordinator for United States Congressman Adam Benjamin, Jr., 1st District of Indiana. George also served on the Executive Board of Trustees of Jane Addams Hull House Association. He currently serves on the Executive Board of Christ the King Jesuit College Prep in Chicago.
