Drumke to Speak at the 2025 ABA Motor Vehicle Product Liability Litigation Conference

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner Michael W. Drumke will serve as a moderator at the 2025 Motor Vehicle Product Liability Litigation Conference hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section on April 24, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Drumke will join fellow panelists in a session titled “Asbestos Litigation Update: Current Trends and Challenges,” where he will help facilitate a discussion on the ongoing asbestos claims against automotive manufacturers including new theories and recent decisions. The session will also feature contributions from Humma Siddiqi, Esq., Managing Counsel at Toyota Motor North America, Inc., Plano, TX; Craig L. Hodgson, Esq., of Segal McCambridge in San Francisco, CA; and Samuel Jones, Esq., of Nissan North America, Inc., Franklin, TN.

This conference hosted by the ABA will provide opportunities to learn and network with the nation's leading motor vehicle product liability experts and industry professionals. The program highlights many legal and technical issues relevant to motor vehicle product liability litigation, as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), regulatory developments, generative AI, causation issues related to injuries in rear-end collisions, legal ethics, trial-related topics, and much more.
