Biography

Dave is an associate at the firm’s Chicago office, focusing on general trial, toxic tort, and product liability matters. He advises companies, shareholders, and adjusters across various industries on making informed decisions before, during, and after litigation.

Prior to joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Dave represented a national home and automobile insurer, defending tort claims in both trial and appellate courts. He also served as a criminal prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, handling a range of criminal and civil cases. Dave has successfully tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict.

While in law school, Dave volunteered at the Veteran’s Legal Support Clinic and the Office of Diversity Affairs. He also gained valuable experience clerking in the Traffic Section and the Public Corruption and Financial Crimes Division of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
