Catherine Basque Weiler Named to Crain's 2022 Notable Women in Law List
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is pleased to announce that partner Catherine Basque Weiler has been named to Crain's Chicago Business 2022 Notable Women in Law list. The annual publication honors female attorneys for not only their skills and accomplishments in the courtroom but for their exemplary leadership outside of it.
Catherine's practice encompasses trial litigation and appeals. She is the public appellate face of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, and has an impressive resume of results before tribunals throughout the country. She vigorously represents clients in state and federal trial courts through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial, primarily defending legal malpractice and commercial, product, and premises liability claims. Catherine has served as SMB's Appellate and Critical Motions Practice Chair for the last decade.
Catherine is an excellent example of a true leader. She continuously advocates for women in the workplace, prioritizing communication and inclusivity while providing essential resources and knowledge to her peers.
