Biography
Brittany Dushman is an attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. She practices general litigation, and concentrates her practice in commercial disputes, products liability actions, and class actions. Brittany also defends lawyers and professionals in professional malpractice actions.
Brittany began her career as a Summer Associate with the firm in 2023. Before joining full time, she clerked in the Northern District of Illinois where she gained experience in complex civil and criminal litigation. During law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Brittany served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Criminal Law classes. She was an active member of her Moot Court Honor Society team, having won the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Competition and taking home the Best Oralist award.

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is pleased to welcome new associates Brooke M. Behler, Paris O. Booker, E.Tripp Burton, Ariana L. Devereaux, Olivia E. Duggins, Brittany C. Dushman, and Meredith H. Green to the firm. All these individuals were sworn in as members of the Illinois Bar and Missouri Bar in 2024. They previously participated in the firm's innovative summer associate internship program in 2023.
