Becker, O’Toole Peterson, and Alasauskas Host The Michigan Entertainment Law Organization
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Attorneys Jeffrey S. Becker, Nicole O’Toole Peterson, and Amanda J. Alasauskas recently hosted approximately 30 undergraduate students from the University of Michigan’s Entertainment Law Organization (MELO) at the firm’s office.
During the visit, the attorneys led a discussion focused on litigation and its intersection with the entertainment industry, offering students a practical look at how legal principles apply across evolving media and business landscapes.
This discussion also gave students an opportunity to ask direct questions about entering the legal field, with attorneys sharing perspectives on navigating career decisions and building experience in litigation-focused practices.
Hosting the group provided an opportunity to connect students with practicing attorneys in a real-world setting, which is part of the firm’s broader effort to give aspiring legal professionals clearer visibility into the day-to-day realities of the profession.
