Aniyah Braveboy

Aniyah’s interest in advocacy began well before entering practice and was shaped by meaningful early courtroom experience, including conducting voir dire, arguing motions, and preparing witnesses in jury trials.

She further developed her litigation skills through national mock trial competition, earning a top-four finish in the Constance Baker Motley National Mock Trial Competition. These experiences continue to inform her approach to litigation, where she focuses on preparation, strategy, and clear communication.

In addition to her practice, Aniyah remains actively engaged in the legal community and the industries she serves.

She has spoken on panels, including at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and has moderated discussions at national conferences through the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries.

During law school, she held several leadership roles, including serving as President of the Women’s Lawyers Association and Director of Convention for the Midwest Black Law Students Association.

She also maintains a commitment to supporting artists and creatives through her volunteer work. In June 2026, Aniyah was recognized with the Rising Star Award by the Black Men Lawyers Association of Chicago, reflecting her early career achievements and continued contributions to the profession.
