Alasauskas to Address Intellectual Property Issues Facing Creators at C2E2 2026

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorney Amanda J. Alasauskas will present at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) on March 28, 2026, at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Her panel, titled “Collecting Your Infinity Stones: How Securing and Retaining Your Character Rights Forms Your Copyright Gauntlet,” will take place from 5:15-6:00 p.m. in Room S402-B.

Amanda’s presentation will explore how copyright and trademark law intersect with fandom, content creation, and entertainment media. Drawing on pop culture touchstones familiar to comic, gaming, and creative communities, the panel will address how creators can protect original works, navigate the use of existing intellectual property, understand the evolving role of artificial intelligence in content creation, and enforce their rights without infringing others’ intellectual property.

C2E2 is one of the country’s premier pop culture conventions, bringing together fans, creators, artists, and industry professionals to celebrate comics, gaming, movies, television, cosplay, and creative storytelling through panels, workshops, and live programming. Learn more about C2E2.
