Alasauskas and Wahl Selected as Mentors for the 2025–2026 GRAMMY U Mentorship Program

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is proud to announce that attorneys Amanda J. Alasauskas and Michelle M. Wahl have been selected to serve as Mentors for the 2025-2026 GRAMMY U Mentorship Program, presented by Amazon Music. GRAMMY U, a program of The Recording Academy, connects college students with established professionals to support the next generation of music creators, industry executives, and creative leaders.

The GRAMMY U Mentorship Program pairs student mentees with mentors for a six-month, one-on-one professional development experience. From November 10, 2025, through May 1, 2026, mentors guide students through career exploration, industry insights, and ongoing development as they prepare for careers in the music and entertainment industries.

Alasauskas and Wahl’s selection reflects both attorneys’ commitment to fostering emerging talent within the creative community and supporting the continued growth and well-being of the music ecosystem.

About Amanda J. Alasauskas

Amanda J. Alasauskas is an associate at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and business disputes, entertainment and media law, intellectual property, and transactional services. She represents individuals, small businesses, and international corporations in state and federal courts across a wide range of commercial, contractual, and business tort matters.

Amanda also volunteers her time with Lawyers for the Creative Arts, serving as President of the Associate Board and as a volunteer attorney supporting artists and arts organizations. About Michelle W. Wahl

Michelle M. Wahl is a Partner at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP and Co-Chair of the firm’s Entertainment and Media Law Practice Group. She also serves within the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation and Transactional Services Practice Group. Michelle holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and is particularly skilled in navigating complex copyright and trademark matters as well as advising clients on emerging issues in intellectual property law.

Michelle focuses her entertainment and intellectual property practice on safeguarding clients’ copyright and trademark portfolios and providing comprehensive representation to GRAMMY-nominated songwriters, composers, recording artists, producers and engineers, music licensing representatives, authors and illustrators, and a broad range of entertainment-related businesses.
