"Sound of Summer" Gathered Clients, Friends for Emerging Artist Music Showcase
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP's Entertainment and Media Law Practice hosted its third annual music showcase last Tuesday at the House of Blues Chicago. Now called “Sound of Summer,” clients, friends and guests were treated to performances by four emerging artists, including:
Also new this year – a portion of ticket sales benefited the Chicago Children’s Choir and Lawyers for the Creative Arts. Raffle tickets were also sold, giving guests the change to win concert and theatre tickets, restaurant gift certificates, autographed musician photos, and more. The event raised $2,000 to be split between the two charities.
Sound of Summer also generated significant media coverage, including being featured in four segments of WCIU’s “You & Me" and interviewing partner Jeffrey S. Becker.
