Fardy Wins IP Bench Trial on Patent Ownership and Fraud Issues

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner P. Stephen Fardy won an intellectual property bench trial in the State Court of Colorado with the recent release of a 34-page opinion finding in favor of the firm’s client, a sporting and outdoor recreation equipment manufacturer. The client obtained a favorable  declaratory judgment ruling on patent ownership issues and on its counterclaims of fraudulent concealment and misrepresentation. 

Associate Julie D. Miller represented the manufacturer at trial, with assistance from Partner Catherine Basque Weiler and Associate Jonna McGinley Reilly in the preceding litigation.
