Drumke Serves on ABA Magna Carta Anniversary Committee
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner Michael W. Drumke has been asked to serve on the American Bar Association's 2015 Magna Carta Anniversary Committee. The ABA is joining the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth nations to honor the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta in 1215.
Drumke and fellow committee members are developing plans for events in the United States and the United Kingdom, leading up to a delegation of 600-800 U.S. lawyers participating in commemorative meetings and events in London and Runnymede, England on June 12-14, 2015. Drumke currently serves as Chair-Elect of the ABA's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) and will serve a one-year term as TIPS Chair begining in August 2014.
