Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Attorneys Support Investing in Justice Campaign

For the fourth consecutive year, Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP participated in the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Investing in Justice Campaign, which raises funds for pro bono and legal aid services in the Chicago area. Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP was one of more than 130 area law firms, corporate legal departments and law-related organizations to be involved in 2013.

This year, over 69 percent of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorneys made a personal commitment to the campaign.  Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP hopes its support will aid the CBF and its dozens of partner organizations in their efforts to provide legal assistance to those in need.  One hundred percent of funds raised will fund CBF grants that support a comprehensive range of legal services to many thousands of people in need.  Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partners Margaret O'Sullivan Byrne and Timothy G. Nickels once again chaired the firm's campaign efforts.

This year's campaign raised $1.8 million through donations from more than 4,000 individuals, for a total of $8.5 million raised over the last seven years.  For more information about the Investing in Justice Campaign and the work of the CBF, visit their website.
