Ferrill to Speak on ‘Social Media and Health Care Professionals' During 2023 Medical Staff Grand Rounds
Partner Sarah A. Ferrill will present “Social Media and Health Care Professionals: Potential Pitfalls and Legal Implications” at a local hospital as part of their Medical Staff Grand Rounds on May 10.
Ferrill’s presentation will cover the distinction between privileged and non-privileged communications, obligations for compliance, legal implications in healthcare professional communication, and more. Through real-life examples, she will also provide practical tips on better handling communication between healthcare providers and overcoming obstacles that can hinder a defense team.
Sarah A. Ferrill has devoted a majority of her practice to the defense of medical negligence claims and has substantial litigation experience in other areas, including pharmaceutical and medical device litigation.
