Verdict Recognized in Chicago Lawyer Year in Review Supplement
A not guilty verdict obtained by Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partners William J. Rogers and Linda E. Spring in 2011 was highlighted in Chicago Lawyer's "Year in Review" supplement.
The highlighted case involved claims of medical malpractice which lead to the death of a pregnant woman from a pulmonary embolism. Rogers and Spring represented and received a verdict of Not Guilty versus the two defendants. Plaintiffs' attorneys demanded $4 million and asked for $18.5 million.
