Alida E.H. Beck

Biography

Alida Beck is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. She combines her background in healthcare, clinical research, and advocacy to defend hospitals, doctors, and nurses, as well as the interests of businesses and professionals. She is a member of the Medical Negligence and Healthcare, Professional Liability, and Product Liability Practice Groups. Prior to attending law school, Alida worked in clinical research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on Phase 1 clinical trials while also earning her Master of Healthcare Administration online. 

During law school, she clerked at Rush University Medial Center, represented individuals in Loyola’s Health Justice Clinic, clerked at a Chicago area law firm, and was a Summer Associate and law clerk at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP. 

Alida is a volunteer mentor with Minds Matter Chicago, an organization committed to making higher education a reality for accomplished high school students from low-income families in the Chicago area. She also volunteers as an interviewer of prospective students for her alma mater.
