Joseph E. Tennial

Biography

Joseph E. Tennial is an associate attorney at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Chicago Office where he concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and business disputes, professional liability, products liability, and entertainment and media law.

Before joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Joseph worked at a nationally recognized insurance law firm where he represented the interests of insurers and reinsurers in coverage litigation and general commercial litigation. He also provided dispute resolution and claim counseling services to domestic and international insurers and reinsurers in a wide variety of insurance coverage claims.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Joseph gained extensive government experience while working in the Office of the Governor for the State of Illinois, and for the United States Senate.

Joseph currently serves as a Trial Advocacy instructor for the Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy program at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he teaches trial skills and evidence to program fellows in preparation of national mock trial competition.
