Drew M. Schilling

Biography

Drew Schilling is a partner with Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP and has over 21 years of experience in litigation. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri, Texas and the Federal District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.

Drew represents multiple clients including Fortune 100 companies in complex litigation both in Illinois and Missouri. His work focuses on defense of toxic tort claims involving exposure to asbestos, diacetyl and benzene. He has represented product manufacturers and premise owners in thousands of cases, a vast majority of which resulted in dismissal. In addition to toxic torts, Drew also represents companies in general product liability matters.

Drew has tried cases to verdict in Texas and Illinois, and has favorably resolved dozens of cases after starting trials in multiple jurisdictions. His focus is on providing clients with effective defense strategies that incorporate a focus on reducing clients’ costs. Drew’s strategies have resulted in saving clients millions of dollars on an annual basis while at the same time lowering indemnity costs.
