Weishaar to Guest Speak for BJC Campus Renewal Project Session

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partner Aaron G. Weishaar is set to guest speak at a BJC 201 session as a part of the Barnes-Jewish Christian (BJC) HealthCare Campus Renewal Project on March 19, 2025. Weishaar will share valuable insight to understanding construction contract documents during his session including understanding scope, schedule, payment terms change orders and flow down provisions.

The Campus Renewal Project is an initiative that includes the construction of a new 16-story replacement tower in the footprint of the recently demolished Queeny Tower and an improved entrance to the BJC campus. This project is a partnership between Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Washington University School of Medicine. Learn more about the BJC Campus Renewal Project.

BJC Planning, Design & Construction launched an educational program, BJC 101, in September 2013 as part of its diversity and inclusion efforts. In the fall of 2017, Aaron presented at BJC Construction 101 when he spoke at a session concerning Missouri Mechanic’s Liens.  These quarterly sessions have focused on essential topics such as operations, project management, estimating, marketing, business development, and financial controls. BJC has expanded its curriculum and introduced BJC 201 with new sessions on key areas. Learn more about BJC 201.

Partner Aaron G. Weishaar serves as Chair of the DRI's Fidelity and Surety Committee. His practice focuses on contraction law, fidelity and surety bond claims and litigation, real estate, trusts and estates, business and commercial litigation.
