Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP recently welcomed two associates to its Chicago and St. Louis offices.
Mary H. Carlson joins the firm's Chicago office and focuses on general civil litigation. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2018 and her B.A. in 2015 from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Before joining the firm, Mary gained significant trial experience representing clients in complex domestic relations matters on both the circuit and appellate levels at an esteemed family law firm.
Liam B. Mardis joins the firm's St. Louis office. He concentrates his practice on general civil litigation, including business and commercial disputes, class action defense, and product liability and toxic tort litigation. He received his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 2023 and his B.A. in 2019 at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining the firm, Liam represented national insurance companies in defense and insurance coverage matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction, and arson and fraud investigations.
