Meredith S. Fox

Biography

Meredith S. Fox is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office and is a member of the Medical Negligence and Healthcare Practice Group. She focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits. Additionally, she represents clients in commercial litigation, business disputes, and other general tort matters including premises liability cases.

Prior to joining Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Meredith worked at a civil litigation defense firm where she gained significant experience defending clients in medical malpractice and other general negligence actions.  Additionally, Meredith has gained varied experienced in commercial litigation matters involving insolvency, consumer workouts, and structured settlements. 

Meredith graduated from The John Marshall Law School where she served as a Moot Court Executive Board Member and President of the Women’s Law Caucus.  During that time, she won best brief in the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court competition and served as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant.

Meredith completed her undergraduate studies at Haverford College earning a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish.
