Becker Named to Recording Academy Board of Governors for Chicago Chapter
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partner Jeffrey S. Becker was elected to the Recording Academy's Board of Governors for the Chicago Chapter.Established in 1957, The Recording Academy is an organization of musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers, and recording professionals that is dedicated to improving the cultural condition and quality of life for music and its makers. It is most known for hosting the GRAMMY Awards, and is also responsible for professional development, cultural enrichment, advocacy, education, and human services programs.
The Chicago Chapter, which encompasses several Midwestern cities, is one of 12 regional Chapters across the country. Becker will be on the Board of Governors for 2017-2018.
