Libertyville Office Volunteers with Feed My Starving Children
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Libertyville office spent a recent Friday volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit organization committed to feeding starving children. Volunteers hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children and the meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world.
Libertyville participants packed 21 boxes of food, part of a shipment of 113 boxes of food that was sent to the Philippines this week. The shipment will provide 24,408 meals for children, equivalent to feeding 67 kids for one year.
Participants include Libertyville Partners David S. Goles, Steven L. Larson, Leanne W. Moore, David F. Pardys and John A. Terselic; Associate Brett M. Henne; as well as several staff members.
