Sheean Addresses Recent Increase in Privacy Lawsuits at DRI’s Commercial Litigation Meeting
Partner Christopher T. Sheean will address the recent increase in privacy lawsuit at the DRI’s Commercial Litigation Meeting on October 27 during the DRI Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Sheean’s presentation, titled “Invasion of the Privacy Laws,” covers recent cases involving the ever-changing exchange of information using the internet, cell phones, wireless networks and other technologies. He is one of six attorneys addressing “Six Hot Litigation Picks for 2012,” which include business torts, intellectual property, class actions, sports law, antitrust and UCC contracts.
The Annual Meeting gathers members of all substantive law and practice area committees for a variety of educational presentations and speeches, with breakout meetings for each committee. Keynote speakers at the Annual Meeting include former U.S. President Bill Clinton and current Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Antonin Scalia.
